About Me

I qualified with an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Minster Centre in 2016. I have since build a successful private practice with a specialist focus on working with the LGBTQ+ community. I work with individuals, couples and groups.

I worked in the NHS supporting people with severe presentations. This work has given me perspective about the extent of mental health distress and social inequality which continues to support and inform my work. I offer low-cost places to support clients from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

I spent two years working for the Minster Centre’s low-cost therapy service. I also worked as a counsellor and intake assessor at the East London Out Project (ELOP). I currently facilitate peer led trans and non-binary supervision groups. As an ex-chef, I am also working on a cookery project for trans youth supported by Gendered Intelligence.

Using an integrative, relational style of therapy, I build an approach which is tailored to meet the unique requirements of each individual client and couple. Although the work is predominantly talking based, I always incorporate the body as a way of accessing deeply held emotions.

I have specialist interests in developmental trauma, relationality, gender, sexuality, shame, couples work and psychosexual issues.

I am a BACP registered and UKCP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. My private practice is in Clapton, north-east London.
